5 Cold Brew Cocktails to Make Your Holiday Season a Little More Fun!

This holiday season why not try something different and mix up some cold brew cocktails? A little caffeine to keep the party energized mixed into your favorite cocktails is sure to be a hit!

Italian Cold Brew Martini

- 1.5 oz. cold brew coffee

- 2 oz. sweet vermouth 

- 1.5 oz. brandy 

- 1 oz. simple syrup 

- top off with club soda 

- orange wheel (garnish)


Combine the vermouth, brandy, cold brew, and simple syrup in a tumbler. Fill the tumbler with ice, then top it off with club soda and an orange wheel. 

 


 

Coffee Old Fashion 

- 2 oz. cold brew coffee

- 1 oz. bourbon 

- .25 oz. simple syrup 

- dash of bitters

- a lemon peel 


Combine cold brew, bourbon, simple syrup, and bitters in a shaker full of ice. Stir with a bar spoon for 30 seconds and then strain into a rocks glass full of ice. Garnish with a twisted lemon peel. 

 


 

Irish Iced Coffee

- 2 oz. cold brew coffee

- 2 oz. stout 

- 1.5 oz. Irish whiskey

- 3/4 oz. simple syrup 

- .5 oz. heavy cream 

- garnish with cinnamon 


Mix coffee, stout, whiskey, and simple syrup in a highball glass. Add ice to fill the glass. Gradually pour cream into the glass. Garnish with ground cinnamon. 




Cola Coffee

- 1.5 oz. cold brew coffee

- .5 cup coffee liquor 

- .5 cup spiced rum 

- 12 oz. bottle of cola 

- .5 cup heavy cream


Combine coffee, liqueur, rum, and cola in a large pitcher. Divide among rocks glasses filled with ice; add cream, dividing evenly. 

 

 


Kahlua Cold Brew 

- 3 oz. cold brew coffee

- 2 oz. Kahlua

- .5 oz. Triple Sec 

- .5 oz. aged rum (or white or dark)

- Granulated sugar for dipping the glass

- Lemon wedge

- One large spoonful of whipped cream

- For the garnish: grated chocolate or fresh grated or ground nutmeg


Use a lemon wedge to wet the rim of the glass and dip the outside in sugar. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the outside of the glass until the sugar turns brown. Add the cold brew coffee, Kahlua, triple sec, and rum, and stir once. Gently float the whipped cream on top using the back of a spoon. Garnish with grated chocolate or nutmeg.
